With #DECAICDC being less than a week away, magic is in the air and an enchanting weekend of fun awaits you in Anaheim, Calif.

Home to attractions like Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and even SoCal DECA’s District Conference, California DECA is proud to be your host and to share some Southern California hospitality.

Here are some tips to navigating Anaheim:

Disneyland

With world class rides and attractions, Disneyland is a MUST for many. With two parks to choose from, Disneyland and California Adventure, there’s something for everyone. Maximize your fun by utilizing FastPass and the Disney app to track wait times.

Other Attractions

For non-Disney fans (which I still refuse to believe exist), enjoy the thrill of SoCal at Knott’s Berry Farm, an action-packed thrill park. Or take a stroll through the SoCal surfs at the Huntington Beach pier.

Transportation

No matter the group size, SoCal has a robust transit system that moves thousands of people daily to their destinations. Check your hotel for shuttles or try out our local streets and transit. Be sure to ask your advisor for permission first!

Souvenirs & Shopping

Bring a piece of SoCal home with you by taking back souvenirs from the local mall or shops Downtown Disney! Pack light to make space for all those Mickey ears awesome gifts you’ll be bringing back.

Food

Orange County is home to some amazing and wacky food from Sushi Donuts to endless boba shops, check out outlets like @yelpoc on Instagram and explore the SoCal Streets finding SoCal Sweets! Spice up your adventure with dinner theaters like Medieval Times or Pirate’s Adventure along the way, they’re definitely Instagram worthy.
