Hot Spots in Anaheim for #CDECAICDC Attendees

When people think of Anaheim they often only think of Disneyland.

If this is your first time in Anaheim, definitely be sure to get that autograph from Mickey Mouse, but this city also has many hot spots for you to explore during your time here at the 2017 #CDECAICDC.

When you’re not competing or networking, keep in mind these five different hot spots that are sure to enhance your experience in Anaheim:

1. The Angels Stadium

This is an awesome spot if you’re in the mood to catch a ball game. If there isn’t a game going on stop by anyway and take a selfie to say you’ve visited the fourth oldest stadium in Major League Baseball.

2. Adventure City

If you’re a thrill seeker Adventure City is the theme park for you. While you might want to check out Disneyland, Adventure City is a cheaper alternative for us college students who may be on a budget. It’s a bit smaller than Disney but packed with just as much fun.

3. Goofy’s Kitchen

Inside Disneyland is the one and only Goofy’s Kitchen, be sure to bring an autograph book and your appetite because it’s a delicious buffet style dinner offering everything you can imagine while Disney characters come around to have dinner with you. It’s your inner child’s dream restaurant.

4. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Calling all Harry Potter fans for this one, get inside Universal Studios head over to Harry Potter World and buy yourself a butterbeer while you cast spells with the interactive wands at Hogsmeade.

5. Center Street Promenade

Get that historical feel at Center Street Promenade, the historical center of Anaheim at the turn of the century is now a modern artsy shopping area with unique boutiques for men and women and eateries you just can’t find anywhere else.
